A Cute Picture

A cute picture, just to make sure you still come around this here ol' blog...

Photobucket

Wish me luck tomorrow. I've had Mr. RBR home for a whole month! But tomorrow he must go back to work.

The way it worked out was pretty crazy. The whole company that Mr. RBR works for has the week between Christmas and New Years off. Then we left for Korea on New Years Day for a week, so Mr. RBR took a week's vacation. Then he got two weeks off for parental leave (so GLAD Mr. RBR works for a company that is so adoption friendly).

But now all that fun must come to an end. On Monday Mr. RBR will leave me with these crazy kiddos by myself for the first time. Not only that, but he has Tae Kwon Do on Mondays, so he won't be home until around 8. Eek!

I think that's called baptism by fire.

Hello Stranger!

We are home. We are in love.

And we are so, so tired.

It's true. Delaney has jet lag (and mom and dad do too, a little bit). It's been a bear turning her schedule almost completely around--Seoul being 14 hours ahead of us and all. But we are settling in.

And needless to say, all our hearts have been captured by this little lady.

Excuse my bedhead and pjs. Ya know it's love when I'm willing to be seen like this!

Seoul

Seoul is incredible. The things we are seeing... amazing. The city is beautiful and the subway system makes it pretty easy and inexpensive to navigate. If you get a chance to visit Seoul, please do.

Counting down the hours until we get our daughter.

Me and my daughter

She is perfect. And she is mine.

Hello From Seoul!

Took us 23 hours of travelling to get from home to the guest house. The weird thing is it was dark the whole time! Despite perpetual darkness we only got 2 or 3 hours of sleep. I've lost all track of time. No clue if it's day or night anymore!

We are tucked into a tiny little room, but it's warm and has a hot shower. It's seriously so tiny the bathroom door doesn't open all the way because it hits the shower. Two twin beds, 1 nightstand and a small table with two chairs round out the room. No dresser, no closet even!

I'm the tallest, whitest person for miles. Apart from one older lady staring, I've been well received. ha!

Tomorrow we meet our daughter for the first time. Very excited and nervous!
